Wish Upon a Dandelion Wisp
my thoughts adrift
endless on the horizon's edge
lingering in the warmth
of this day
you stand beneath
the folds of eyes
awake in dreams
i tremble amidst
the effortless breath of wind
tenderly stroking me
with the torridity
of a midday sigh
wiping dry
the mist that falls
from lonely eyes
my tears alight
on the feathery puffs
of the last dandelion
i whisper softly
lips against its folds
with a kiss
it drifts
alone
