Wish
I have come so far
Forever reaching for a star
My legs so weary
Of life's bitter sweet dreary
The pain
The stain
I want no more to hold
Memories of life untold
I'm about to fold
I want to rest
No more test
Everyones sins in my ear
Their fear
I'm on the brink
Further I sink
Into such sadness
Into my mind of madness
Death would be to my gladness
No where left to hide
Happily ever after lied
Wear this black
holding the sins back
But constantly, they attack
Slipping ever deeper into my mind
Nowhere else safe can I find
Living life in rewind
I have no where to go
Nothing to show
Bum
Oh hum
Damn this inner fire
Desire
Go on
Life's too long
Can't give up or in
Neither way can you win
Life is the ultimate sin
Nowhere, or nobody in which to turn
Watching bridges burn
As you walk by
For that i now cry
So ready to fly
Time
Writing some rhyme
I'm old
Cold
Faith creeps away
Sadness comes into play
On bended knee
I plee
Take me
Take me home
No longer do I wish to roam
