Wish

“and the birds twitter like whispering violins”

I wish to hear the birds twitter like whispering violins,
In the mild early summer morning sunrise.

I wish to hear the whispers of play of violin.
In the songs of wind whispering in woods.

I wish to hear the birds twitter,
Only to remind me of my lover’s voice.

I wish I did not hear,
The pangs of sorrow in my heart’s lonely tunes.

I wish I had companions in my daily routine,
Alas, I hear mute bird tweets and silent violin tunes.

I wish I get all the love of loved ones and friends,
That will fill my heart with birds twitter like whispering violins.
