Wish

You were singing a song
I was litening to your humming tune,
Waiting somewhere between love and hate..
Be assured, It had nothing to do with you,
You were just singing a song.

You were sleeping like a child
We don't have much left as a remainder.
I was trying to fight my headache,
Moreover, I was entirely forgiving my heartache
Be assured , It had nothing to do with you,
You were simply sleeping like a child.

You were writing a letter,
I was deeply scrutinizing you, then
I knew, the letter was never meant for me
And, I also knew, this is not worth trying for
Be assured, It had nothing to do with you, any more.
You were simply writing a letter.

I wish, I were able to compose a song for you
I wish , I were able to dream together with you
And I wish, I were the sole recipient of all your letters.
To reach your heart, before the ticking clock beats us both.
