Wisdom of Trees
They do not talk or laugh
no one claims trees visit
but they are wiser than men
one tree grows in a place
others come near and around
the tree will not complain
other will come and grow
there is no battle of territory
all reproduce and create forests
all live together young and old
grandparents, grandchildren
foreigners, strangers, visitors
animals, insects, microbes
prosper and establish homes
and as they live in community
they sustain their life in love
some die away for others to live
many live for others to die
the grandparents give way
and the young grow to be old
all in peace, and in symbiosis
generations and generations
come and go and the trees live
and the wisdom of trees goes on
copying, no human is capable of
