Wisdom Lost

What some people achieve in a life time Most wouldn't accomplish in ten They become legends sublime More to come, there's no telling when These intelligent beings have mastered there trade They follow the path of the wise The story is different then what is portrayed We all see,but there not the same set of eyes Wisdom is achieved through enlightenment There is a reason why winners win wisdom is there entitlement Due to the work they put in Most take the short road alone, with no destination in mind The wise take the long one with company and put there differences aside People with no patience are the blind leading the blind The wise travel and let past experience and passion be there guide Don't let impulsive thoughts build a home in your brain Ideas without action applied is like a professor less College With students locked out waiting in the rain The wise figure all possible outcomes The impulsive keep making the same mistakes The wise sit and ponder, how come? They presume its better not to pump the brakes The wise take heed in there actions knowing only themselves,is who they will forsake They will use the lure of wealth,to create a distraction To slow the Impulsive reaction,to take Wisdom teaches patience Action without thought, they repulse The Impatient are lazy, and complacent And make every decision on impulse Inconvenience oneself, learn from the past, think before you move Your purpose will show itself, a sound Philosophy is what is needed to improve Assumption, and ignorance equal guaranteed failure Sense danger before it is an inch away Study history,Let it be your savior You're empire is not to far away
