Wisdom From God We Need
God’s wisdom is what we need…
…Such upholds the veracity of our salvation-brace
While we face various challenges along life’s race
Midst struggles marked by sinfulness and weakness’ trace…
For us to stand on the winning side of His awesome grace.
God’s wisdom is what we must ask for…
…Such arms our sanctification-holiness
While battling against many facets of unrighteousness
Midst enticements of materialism and worldliness…
For us to do good works in His will’s truthfulness.
God’s wisdom is what we seek…
…Such secures our soul from doubts’ infirmities
While we conquer several stages of difficulties
Midst sufferings brought by atrocities and calamities…
For us to trust His unfailing promises’ certainties.
God’s wisdom is what depend on…
…Such intensifies our standard-convictions
While we flee from different angles of temptations
Midst allurements packed by lust and deceit’s intentions…
For us to follow His instructions toward heavenly decisions.
God’s wisdom is what we must lean unto…
…Such corrects our human-ignorance
While we subdue pride of towering arrogance
Midst ambitions of personal and carnal extravagance…
For us to stay humble under His great deliverance.
God’s wisdom is what we pray for…
…Such proves our self-denials
While we pass through tough and rigorous trials
Midst persecutions along foes’ betrayals…
For us to reach service-triumph’s peak thru His miracle-portrayals.
God’s wisdom* is what we share…
…Such powers our labor-victory
WhiIe we do His will for His glory
Midst hindrances in proclaiming Gospel story
For us to rescue the perishing from hell’s fury.
