Wipe Your Tears

Wipe your tears, sit down and rest a while
The rays of sunshine will caress your face
And children playing will only make you smile
Know those you loved are with you in this place.

Oh, well done. That would be fun to have your work on a plaque for all to read. I think I would classify this one as a Quatrain, rather than a ballad however. Regards, Dean
