Wintertime

Summer sets
The cold blows in
Bringing chills to my spine

Heavy fall of snow
White illuminating the night
Dreams freeze like icicles

Wind stings my face
Shakes the leaves
Leaving the trees bare

It whistles a song
Across the horizon
Of wintertime
