Winters Time

The snow is now a blanket that goes throughout the land
For nature now has laid its head to rest
The trees are barren of their green attire
In snow and ice they now are dressed

While some animals will come alive in a sea of white and cold
Others finds it suits them better to sleep until springs rays
I find that I enjoy the hearth and a cup of liquid warmth
As I look out the window to enjoys these winter days

An easy six, Charles. I've written many poems about the beauty and peace of snow. Thanks for sharing.

Glad you enjoyed it. Most of the United States is in winters cold embrace now.
