Winter's Soul

dawn swaddles snow tears
melted against a child's tracks
like sketched fingerprints

This is High Priestess Poet PH in full swing ! The best haiku I’ve read for some time. I think sometimes poets write haiku’s when they’re lazy, forgetting that the purpose of its form is to jolt with slightly more than silence. The idea of sketched fingerprints certainly is otherworldly. Let the frost tears make Spring Rivers. Xx

No, remember I'm a Christian, <3 This is actually one of my older ones. Wanted to include it in my anthology- love you, Ghairo, for your always sweet encouragement
