Winter's Slumber Party

Sun rays are dancing on the frozen barley fields
Splashing a golden hue on the ragged shed’s bricks
Dried branches reaching out to the sun as in agony
The sun is frail, smiles embarrassingly as it watches nature falling asleep
Left behind wild geese tucked their heads under each other’s wings
Singing each other lullaby of a splendid summer scene!
