Winter's Magic

Winter's Magic 1-8-24 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Winter’s Magic Winter wizard casts cold spells with gusto As torrents of snowstorms dance flamencos Champagne confetti drifts in bits of snow Clear technicolor snowflakes spin aglow As winter winds enchanted spells now sow Bright snowfall’s glitter – solstice nights light show Meadows and boughs bewitched by snowy ghosts Wear sparkling blankets for enchanted tableaus Hypnotic flurries weave to and fro In the trance of crystal ice chateaus All the world wears an enchanted chapeau Winter magic captured in a snow globe.

Hi Sam, sorry I haven't visited your poems for long as I have been quite busy at the home front with my children and grand child at home. What a stunning winter scene you have painted. "Meadows and boughs bewitched by snowy ghosts Wear sparkling blankets for enchanted tableaus Hypnotic flurries weave to and fro In the trance of crystal ice chateaus".... ! Winter is indeed a wizard who performs magic with gusto ! Awesome descriptions dear Sam. This cute little poem goes into my FAVE.

Dearest Valsa, with a new grandchild and family at home, I know how insane things can be! That being said, any time we can visit is a treasure! Your fav is truly an honor. Had fun being enchanted by winter's magic show all over again as I remembered being totally mesmerized by watching snow fall then walking through a wonderland of fantastic scenery! Know you remain in my thoughts and prayers, dear friend! Blessings of health, happiness and, of course, inspiration to you and your family!!

Happy New Year, Hiya! Thank you so much for your amazing reading of this poem and wonderful feedback! What an honor to be compared to "Frozen" - a truly magical story as magical as watching snow fall. Was delighted to know you picked up on the "fairytale" ambiance of this poem - the underlying wonder. I am so honored by your fav. Thank you! If we can see past the cold and barrenness of winter, there is magic in this season that transforms the world like no other season! Sending you blessings for the new year!

Hi Sara! Thank you!!! How fun to know of your Christmas snow globe gift! I love those "God instances!" Watching snow fall then taking in the beauty that snow creates is truly a mesmerizing experience. I could stand at the window, hardly moving, watching the wizard of winter cast a magical spell transforming the world! Thank you for standing with me to enjoy the magic show! Continued 2024 blessings!

Ya know, what we need is a good old fashioned blizzard, the kind that forces kids and parents to stay home, take in the wonder and just play. Awesome poem Sam

Hi Tom! Happy New Year again! You are so right! When it snowed in the northwest, everything closed down! Everyone came home as soon as they could and then went sledding for as long as the snow stayed! Even the dads went sledding! It was magical - happened at least twice a year. Thank you for finding the underlying joy in these lines, for your awesome feedback and taking in the wonder of a snowy day! Blessings!
