Winter's Hold

the wind is chilling
the cold makes my spine shiver
harsh winter is near

the snow has hardened
i slip and slide across it
now winter is here

the blizzard gets worse
i cannot feel anything
the winter claims me

Sounds cold and scary. Since in the south we are not accustomed to very much snow. I like the way that you put it together. Keep writing. Sara
