*Inspired by our first snowfall the other day.

In the early morning, winter says hello Leaving a soft dusting of fallen snow It lays on the colorful leaves around Sprinkled white, to the mixture on the ground In a snap of cold air and wind blowing through, There is a merging of the old with the new Taking steps on the sparkling surface of white, Makes way for the colors, covered in the night All peeking through winter’s hello, into sight With a daybreak reminder, everything is alright Heidi Sands 10/22/18

Beautifully written Heidi. I live in south Louisiana we don't get alot of snow. But when we do it's a big deal.

Hi Heidi, I am one of those fools who has a love of the winter, well, the snow really. This is a beautiful little gem Heidi. You had me right away with the title.
