Winter's Display

Just as the soft snow fluttered around me in a breeze,
I only saw the beauty and forgot about the deep freeze
May beautiful winter scenes be noticed by people all around
The peace discovered in winter scenes can be so profound
Serenity is at your fingertips, sun shined icicles point at you
Dripping, melting, all in moments slipping by in a breath or two
Years ago it seems I just captured the gloom in a gray day
That was only by choice, there's so much in winter's display
