Robin Red Breasts welcome Spring in the melodies they sing. Bearing breasts of crimson-red, they return from whence they fled. A splash of color on white is indeed a pleasing sight. And as the icicles melt, Spring's tepid breath can be felt. Daffodils poke through the ground, and suddenly, sprouts abound. Where white was, it's green instead, a sign of what lies ahead. Nature nurtures life once more, and soon, spirits start to soar. Springtime awakens senses that breach Winter's defenses.

Wow! I can visualize spring at work (since I live in a country with two seasons). Congrats! God bless you.

Lovely images of spring, Emile. For those who live in colder climates, this time of year is most welcome. Best wishes in Charlie's contest, Carolyn
