Winters Crunch
All is quiet in the house, as I slowly climb out of my warm cocoon that is my bed. Darkness greets me as early morning.
I slip on my coat as I step outside into the winter wonderland which God created, HIS lovely snowflakes falling like little individual snowflakes, kissing our face as if our dearly departed loved ones saying “I Love You”.
The crunch beneath my feet is sure delight, the moon lights my way, I exhale deeply as my steps are light, the trees are blanketed by the early morning snow fall.
Let thus moment never end, thus is why I love Minnesota, the seasons each offer their own delight, we are here for only a while, GOD is here with me as the snow falls quietly around my tired body..
Heavenly Jesus, as I say a quiet prayer, thanking you for my blessings only you can bestow, my tears slowly fall like tiny icicles down my face, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed winters beauty here to stay.
