Silence, listening for the echo of a thought, Blessed by the soothing, gentle flakes, Breaking through the darkness, skies delighted By the music, song of joy, falling quietly, Hope in hasty flakes, feeling like yesterday’s Soft light, pouring over the moonlit life… Silence, whispering through the stillness, Blessings poured out in the lives who hear this, The muffled music of a thought, breaking Through the spirit, the melancholic notes, joys Thread bare moments, exposed – naked as the heart, Who knows that this is the wind’s grievance… Silence, distant praise pouring from the wind, Muffled music, tones of yesterday’s blessings, Rising in the night, graceful and merciful, Respecting all that’s right, the spirit’s colors, Painting the forests and seas, never make believe, Beautiful poetry, songs in broken dreams…. Silence, spoken to the spirt who hears the wind’s grief, The snowflake stirring the distant light, Star studded dreams, a source of life’s destinies, More than light, more than music, more than poetry, A journey through the life of peace, Reflecting what it means to be… Wintery comfort, snowfall’s echoing Through the summits, across the valleys, Beyond the night, into the daylight, Restoring the promise of a hidden warmth, Brilliant praise, pouring o’er the heart, Who believes and agrees… Even the winter sees… yes, it sees… The colors of light, graceful – freezing, Remembering what it means to just see, The forest for the trees, the music You and me, living out our time, our destiny, Beyond the winter, into spring’s energy… Wintery sounds remember me And deliver me from the shadows, So I can surely see… What it means to just walk away from the chains, That once held me to the past, the doubts, But, now… because I believe, they can’t hold me captive! I’m free… so very free!
