Winter Snow
Winter arrived without warning
snow quickly sprinkles white
soft fluffy flakes ---floating---
plummeting to the ground below
crystal prisms dance
intermittently in the sunlight
landscape now takes on
a bleak ghostly shade of white
devoid of all colors
compared to falls dramatic colors
warm air changes to cold
temperatures continue to drop
liquid forms to ice
snow piles mount
creating dune like formations
white dust blows---swirling---
with winter snow
