This is brilliant. Probably more senryu than nature haiku. But I love it. Now about my phone call. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning? I am still waiting

CayCay, congratulations on your winning placement. Florida is always nice to visit in the winter. 55 degrees is like Spring where I live.

Oh this one made me laugh! I live in the desert, we get snowbirds from Michigan, Wisconsin, etc. In December when the day's high only gets into the sixties, you can tell the ones that live here full time, wearing coats, sweaters, while the snowbirds are out in shorts, tank tops, flip flops. It always amuses me to watch people come and go in a parking lot! LOL This was spot on for Arizona too! Not just Florida. Thanks for making me smile today CayCay! Ron

Great tongue in cheek humor, CayCay! It's no wonder people from New York flock to Florida for winter! In some ways, Florida's winter temperatures are like the temps here in CA, but, that being said, we can get some snow and very frosty nights when I have to cover my citrus trees and gardenias. I think I'll send this to my sister in Florida. She will get a kick out of it! Prayers for continued healing. Hope you find that sweater! Warm blessings!

Oh, Kim, you may never get over that cold boot camp chill! You served, which branch? What time period? I admire and salute you. I served as an Army brat during my 0 to 18 developmental years (I really feel I did.) Hugs ... CayCay
