Winter Quintain

The Bushes hunched, the bare trees holding still
In cyclic pattern: seasons’ lives bespeak
Not grip of death but life's farseeing will
That shall revive and Nature’s wish fulfil

I like your Winter Quintain Geoffrey. It does convey that feeling of life in freeze frame waiting to feel the awakening touch of spring again. Best, SuZ
