Winter Poem
the winters here and its very cold
i have no one to come and hold
to keep me safe and very warm
for the long nights that has drawn
i see the coldness climb down the window frame
covered in ice and also rain,
wish you were here to hold me tight,
and scare away them endless nights,
i feel the breeze under the floor,
it creeps in an under the door
sneaking in my house and making me cold
wish someone was here that i could hold.
i watch the clouds there all gray and dark
in the winter they do that,
the sun will shine but there,s no heat
its that cold i cant feel my feet,
in my heart it feels so dark and gloom,
all because winter came in my room,
i close my curtains and climb in bed
pull the covers way over my head,
i hope to breath very hard
so the breath can warm my heart,
so come on summer come around
and lift this nasty thaw off the ground,
i want to feel the heat from the sun.
so when the winter does come your way
please wrap up and always be safe,...
