Winter Night

Slowly to sun starts to set and the birds begin to sit on the wires as the cool breeze moves in, the stars still in the night, and the smell of pine fills the air, you walk into the log cabin and set wood into the fireplace and set it ablaze, your husband takes you by the hand and both of you grab a blanket and lie close to the fire, the warmth of your bodies and fire nearby with soft country music on the radio, you look out the window as snow begins to fall. It is nights like this that we give thanks to bringing us closer together with our hearts warm and love is stronger than ever. Our eyes slowly close holding each other close and into slumber.
