Winter Morn

Crisp white leaves lay upon the ground
snow falls heavy it doesn't make a sound
Christmas trees laid upon a fetch
and candles burn brightly
stay warm in the winter morn
sit with you're loved ones and toast to
a new year
a new year of fears, hopes, and dreams
shivering in the bitter cold
dreaming of the days when we weren't so old
winter morn will return
until it does the summer will burn.
