For Tania Kichin's Winter Magic poetry contest

A Dizain is a French poem or stanza of ten lines, employing eight or ten syllables to the line and having a specific rhyming pattern, as ababbccdcd.

My poem has ten syllables per line.

Like snowflakes your words fall silent. But my heart still hears your voice.
Angie Weiland-Crosby

Among soft glow of velvet Northern Lights. A winter's palette in landscapes of lace, glitters like ice crystals in moonlit nights, sculpted by nature's wonderland of grace. Stars sparkle in stillness of frozen space. Frost kissed twilight covers branches in white, as silent whispers of snowfall take flight. Floating like ballerinas in Swan Lake, weaving a milky quilt on our campsite, whilst we listen to sounds crackling flames make.

Alot of new poems you have crafted, I will sit down with, my cup of tea and pour over their fragrance. But on this one, I can clearly see the Frost Queens Royal Cape, twirling gallantly at Swan Lake, Stars crackling overhead like a Lodge's Fireplace...lodged above this camp, a bard pitching the tenANts of Wonderland. Sweet memories of tabernacled Winter/family in its frosty hands."...a man selling ice dreams~ Chicago meets Frozen ...singing...at campfire, guitar accompanying the lay of the land's whisper adornment of gland

Dear Silent One, your poem is so rich and descriptive, creating a vivid picture of the winter scene. Your use of imagery such as "soft glow of velvet Northern Lights," "landscapes of lace," and "glitters like ice crystals" to paint a picture of the winter landscape. Literary devices such as simile ("like ballerinas in Swan Lake") and personification ("Frost kissed twilight") add depth to the imagery in this great poem.

Different and musical how you’ve written this magical dizain for the prompt, i love the way youv rhymed and also how it flows with so many brilliant lines. You paint such vivid imagery which touches all the senses of reader in such eloquence. I love especially how you’ve written “ A winter's palette in landscapes of lace, glitters like ice crystals in moonlit nights,“ so wintry and moving how you’ve delivered that in such a dedcriptive manner: i see through your word weaving the landscape of ice

But i think my most fave of all lines should be “ Floating like ballerinas in Swan Lake, weaving a milky quilt on our campsite,” the elegance and delicate touch of the campsite and snow drizzling and dancing is quite a sight to see! I love it! This should score high i guess. Best wishes! Fave it is for me
