An adaptation from the poem Lullaby by Elinor Chipp
Slumber, sweet baby, slumber so tight,
Under the beaver moon's warm orange light.
Like the Christ-child in a nest so slight,
Slumber, sweet baby, slumber.
Hush now, dear baby, dream so serene,
Of fairies twirling in the moon's silver sheen.
Feel my touch, love's gentle stream,
Hush now, dear baby, hush.
Rest, precious baby, in slumber's embrace,
A snowman awaits with a carrot nose and a snowy face.
White rabbits sleep, nestled in this tranquil space,
Rest, precious baby, rest.
