Winter Holds

Paul, Thanks for your comment and kind words. Interestingly the winter of 1961/62, which was a bad one too, well I missed it, as for the next two and half years I spent in Malta. We went swimming, (Military Bay as it was known to us way back then, just one hotel, up on the cliff overlooking the sea, doubt if I would recognise the place now). :( It was a very sad day when we had to leave, shortly after Malta became independent, I guess if I mention St. Patricks barracks you'll understand why I spent all that time on your beautiful island, (Once beautiful islands). Re the latter from what I have seen by way of photos, for me, tourism has spoilt the natural beauty of all three. I wonder how much it has changed the people
