Unusual use of consonance and alliteration in a senryu. Great imagery!

I really like this. Sorry, I had saved your song in email and just realized I had not viewed it yet. I will get to it later, Tim! I end up saving downloads for when I am at school because my PC here at home can't seem to store downloads in a way that I can figure out how to view them. Hope I remember at school to check it out!!!

Great work..I feel that this is deeper than just looking for the sun..Thanks for the visit to my page..I imagine that the orange of the Monarch against the green of the ragweed would be a beautiful sight..Ragweed that makes us sneeze food for the butterflies..Sara

tim, this pulls at my heartstrings, very emotive...I'm not a great fan of senryu and haiku, but when it's written in this way I enjoy it; I like the internal rhyme going on within it, tying in nicely with the title :) (look out for a future contest of mine for maverick/free haiku and senryu)
