Winter Goodbye
Winter goodbye and good riddance
(Lingering spectre prodding my patience.)
Stuff your huff and puff from frosting my composure
Inflicting upon my person's discomfort and displeasure.
Helpless am I to the winds of ghoul,
That blow upon me cold and cruel.
Abruptly interrupting, as I seek a companion
Within a shelter of comfort, I imagine Utopian.
My vertebrae shiver though I glisten
Knowing that winter is in remission,
And feel as if chastity has been lifted,
And welcome the exhilaration liberation delivers.
