Winter Goodbye

A soft warm breeze
The birds’ happy song
Playing in the park
Winter was too long

The budding leaves
Flowers in bloom
Seeing and believing
A crescent hung moon

The stars fill the sky
Until clouds roll in
A gentle April shower
New life begins

The sound of the crickets
Singing in the night
Spring time is here
There’s morning light

Another dawn
Crimson sky
A walk in the dew
Winter goodbye
