Winter Delay
A gypsy man adorned by a hood
clad in multilayered robe,
comes to usher to the masses
about the magic of season.
With your graceful silhouetted grey figure
give your alms to my country,
you most awaited guest that
this year has delayed.
Spread yours feathers like ,
snow flakes, snow drifts,snow beds,
creamy layers in the north,
undrape your cold wave in the metros
with a boom in the market of
beverages and sizzlers,
shower chill breeze to towns
and cities,and take the warm cloth industry
to a higher graph,bonfire will add to the decor of hotels
and also villages,will hear birdies chirp when it dawns
Alas! In my country,this year you delayed,
Why? Why? my country men ask,
are you disappointed by the intolerance among the
brethen to achieve power.... ..social issues,
caste discrimination,minority expolitation,
inequality and so on......
Anyways,excuse them.Humans err.
They will try to recompense.
Your cool,icy breeze leaves a shivering
current in me,fog is all around,stars come in
the early evening,its all chill chill,
meeting you exalts my soul to
a solemn mood,thanking GOD,
for the wonderful you
WINTER , my gypsy, I love you,
forgive and forget.......
