Winter Days
Winter days without you,
The snowy day is here.
The days are lonely without you,
When the sun shines you feel at home again.
There are delicious foods,
And friendly company.
The days are filled with favorite activities,
Like art and poetry.
Church excellence has left,
Memories of karaoke Elvis guest.
Days where we exercise to keep in shape,
Rhythmic exercises that are very fulfilling.
Skiing used to be a favorite sport,
Skating back and forth.
Happily retired now,
Winters at home are appreciated.
Where you are cozy and warm,
God continues to bless us.
