Winter Coat

Winter decided to arrive early he asked North wind to blow his frosty breath over the ground his huffs and puffs came hastily tossing an scattering fallen leaves of autumn. Winter pulled on his coat he laid a blanket of white covering the ground in snow his frosty look began to freeze coating all within his sight wrapping himself in for the season.

Hello Phyllis … A nice description of the beginning for what lies ahead. I can picture this scene even though I haven't seen snow for as long as I can remember - thank you Phyllis - Lindsay

First snow is so beautiful, but it came shockingly early this year to many states in north America and Canada. Fall ended too soon. I love how you personalised winter in your lovely poem Phyl. Happy Holidays! : ) xxoo
