Winter Begone Now

chilled by winter

the cold air seeps through my bones

        ...I await the spring

winter depresses

the cold suits my very mood

        ...I long for the spring

winter begone now

I have had enough of you

      ....I crave springs warmth

Outstanding senryu, Francine. Enjoyed. Anxious to put my shovels away and get out my lawn mower! Did you have a lot of snow in Canada this year? We had more than usual in NY. Have a great week. Thanks for your gracious comments. luv Ralph

It's on its way for you , Francine... cause the new leaves are all coming out here in Florida, it's getting real warm and the robins are starting to leave. All good signs for y'all. I too remember that craving. Got so bad i moved!
