Thanks Patricia - I am still reeling from the atrocities in Manchester - the face of that little girl will haunt me as she looks like the child of a friend. There are so many heroes on that night - how the emergency services and the hospitals coped that night I will never know - i saw an interview with a nurse today, she was so emotional - they are real angels in our lives:-) hugs Jan xx

Thanks Doug this is one of my most well read poems and I did find it plagerised by someone who used it for a contest in the Boston Globe ... they printed a piece after I was able to prove it was mine from soup:-) hugs Jan xx

Hello Jan, Your Haiku is a vivid reminder of the cold and snow due this year. I like to read and write Haiku. Not sure if you heard of Cattails. It is a publication dedicated to Haiku,Senryu,Tanka and Haibun. Very good winter Haiku. Oliver
