Winter

Winter is here
With all the lights and cheer
The snow on the ground
That keeps coming around
The cold wind blows
As we grab our coats and go
Christmas trees in windows
As if like a spindle
Snowmans made in yards
As if to guard
Children sledding
As they are heading
Santa comes to our houses
And is quiet as a mouse
Icicles are hanging down
Which some fall on the ground
Winter is here I say
As each cold and passing day

Beautiful write here, Ema. You might want to change line 15 to read "icicles" however ... smile ... it isn't 2 words ... hope you don't mind my comment
