Notes About The Poem

Written Dec 8 2025 for Seasons Contest sponsored by Joseph May

Winter

I’m so cool I’ll blow your hat off
Known in school as Jack Frost
Seasons greetings in my breeze
I’ve every reason to rustle your leaves

For you give cold a side eye glance
As if you hope for a summer romance
Haven’t you an eye for fashion and all
More is not less put it on don’t take it off

Or you will be frozen
If you don’t prepare for me
Don’t leave yourself open
Not into polygamy

Dry your eyes don’t cry
Frost is not forgiving
It’s snowy outside
I enjoy it it’s thrilling

Congratulations on your win. Your "WINTER" is a wonderful write for a cold month. I remember going to work in the cold snow. 2 Buses then a very long walk. Stay warm... Have a Very Blessed Christmas and New Year 2026. Enjoy the day/weekend with your win.............

Yes I understand that struggle! The first time I had the flu was after such a walk in snow from a bus stop. Merry Christmas!
