winter

Let’s mate for life like we’re swans
Not like our fellow men, who lie in their vows

Let’s lie in eachother's arms
And only lie during Christmas while hiding gifts

Let’s wear hats
And enjoy the snow
Staying tucked into our house like it’s hibernation
Knitting coats for our trees
And leaving dead plants in our garden
To keep the ground warm from the cold
