Winter

We never notice the wind.

Until it snows,

and the wind blows the snow into our faces.

The ice seems thin.

But feels like a thick mental block.

Does fog happen in the winter?

I thought fog was just something that happens in dreams.

But maybe it’s an evaporation of our memories.

Our memories of spring, summer and fall.
