Winter

Even now I blink as the hopes
Flutter past, away from me,
Wintry gusts pull the early dark in,
No arms around me as the
Heavy skies throw the chills at me,
Making me ill.

A rather dark, stark image. Well, spring is fighting its way through. Winter snows don't last forever. "He who sows in sorrow shall reap in joy". It says that somewhere in the Bible. Yours Matthew Anish
