Wings To Fly

Go my child, beyond and high, Reach the stars while you fly. Fear not for the pits and fall, Were you by birth, this tall? You started your way up with a crawl, Winds and rain, you survived through all. See, how easy it was not to let go, Now reap those seeds that you sow. It's the time to rejoice, as you found your grail, And found it over again and again. Now reflect in pride, not in vain, It's time to weave another sail. This time closer to home, on the ground, A stretch of arms, awaiting to surround. A place where your childhood still plays, And your pictures are forever on display. Grab these moments, cherish them with delight, You might not see them on your next flight. Your path is blessed, what if wheels of life ply, Happily I gave you wings to fly. So, fly you must without any fear. And to behold you, I will always be there. Though unseen, you will feel my presence, Around you, my aura and my essence.
