Wings of Sorrow

wings of sorrow
a monarch cries
screams of a sparrow
a heart ripped and shredded
she hates her meds
she hates her meds

dusty thoughts
saturated and dunked
her soul screams
all play is gone
she hates her life
she hates her life

inward closings
trusting no one
she is completely alone
sorrow swallows her up
she hates herself
she hates herself

Interesting form, Caren. I'm not sure I follow it, but then I can be dense!
