Wings of Destiny

Her wings were heavy
they weighed her down
still flying and observing
she fell to the ground.

Her body weary
too weak to move
her inner strength
kept her fueled.

Through stormy weather
she searched for shelter
for sanctuary hidden beneath
nature's embrace.

She healed eternities
all those she touched
saved and delivered
in their nests of love.

Flying through universe's
and altered states
the messenger and sender
from the pearly gates
watching.
