Wings And Wind

It's easy to understand
That wings and wind
go hand in hand,
even if the wind is thin

Birds and other fowls,
Whether those who prowl
For prey, nesting far away,
Or those we see everyday.

Above the white clouds
Of beauty and tranquility,
Airplanes cruising speedily,
Need wind to keep them steadily.

With wings and wind, birds and planes
Sometime fly in the same lanes.
Sometime blinded by fog or falling rain,
Must be careful to avoid much pain.
