"wings"
If I had wings what would I do?
Would I scan over the world to
see if another sky is blue?
Maybe hover above and just watch
the scenes....
Or sit in a distant tree and see other
poets dreams....
I could lay on your window sill and watch
how you sleep...
Fly above the clouds and glide without
making a peep...
Or maybe just fly a mile away, to get to
my honey a little faster today...
