Wine of Memories
Am I like this because you are like that?
Which feeds my life the juice of fire and water made in your memory?
which shows the dream of the sunflower held in the thought of your face.
When I'm alone, my heart and mind tangle in the web of your silk soul.
Am I like this because you are like that?
At times I remember when I flew like a shooting star in the sky of your eyes,
Then the wings of your hands glide in the wind to hold me around you
And in the breeze of your smile, I kiss the fire of love on your cold lips.
And so I have become because you are.
You are as a vineyard of thoughts in my mind;
And I bite each grape and burst the flavour of your essence in my mouth.
I drink until I get drunk with the wine of your memories.
I am like that because you are like this.
I am like this because you are love.
