Winds of Change

Winds of Change Picture yourself. Sitting on a rock in the forest, River underneath and a canopy of trees above. The sound of running, gurgling water beneath you. Sunlight filters through the leaves. The breeze touches your face, Reminding you of God’s awesome Grace. The Peace and Joy of His Holy Spirit. Dappled sunlight warms your arms, And the wind starts to lift your hair. Clouds play hide and seek with the sun. The weather is changing. Its time to move on. And so in life times change. Leaves turn to brown and fall. New saplings grow on the forest floor. Old life, nourishes the new. Our parents, our Elders leave a legacy behind. Lessons well learned, family secrets passed down. The young ones move on to build new lives, To start a legacy of their own. Yes the weather is changing, its time to move on. The sun is hiding now and the leaves starting to drip. The sounds are changing as the mist rolls in. The river gurgling beneath starts to roar. Yes its time to move on, to grow strong and tall. The branches are pruned and new shoots starting to show. Holy Spirit please guide me over the slippery rocks below. As the morning sun starts to glow Let Your light start to show. Amen. John 15:2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. Romans 11:17-18 17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: you do not support the root, but the root supports you. 1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.
