Window Peace
WINDOW PEACE
Bird darts
Behind the blankets and the sheets
Crushed hearts
Tear holes in lives that once were neat
Day shines
On grieving heads too sad to lift
Refines
Life that adapts to steely gifts
Moon glows
To ease eyes on a broken place
And
I’m told
My endless peace rests in your face
