Wind: Loving Sky

Hey you! Yes you!
Why are you moping 
wallowing in your sorrow
sad and feeling like there’s no tomorrow? 

Why do you look helpless
with your round puffy eyes
punishing yourself, hopeless
wishing you believe in his lies?

Who stole your smile away?
Who took the light out of your day?
Who planted seeds of doubt in your heart?
Who says you couldn’t have a brand new start?

Why are you scared of love?
Hiding in your crampy little cove
Don’t you know your worthy of admiration?
In fact, I love you. You’re my inspiration

So if you feel like you’re broken
Darling, know that you shouldn’t be
And though at times I’m soft spoken
My actions are louder than words you see

And when at times I appear to be overconfident and strong
Know that to you, I will do no wrong
I will protect you from the world’s harm
You’ll forever be safe right here in my arm 

Everyday I will remind you of your beauty
For you always means the universe to me
My love for you will never end 
For you are the sky and I am the wind
